Stephen Gay; "Scenic Britain by Train". Over recent years, Stephen Gay, invariably accompanied by his canine friend “Wrawby”, has
travelled the length and breadth of Britain photographing such celebrated railway routes as the
Settle & Carlisle, the West Highland line and the West of England mainline. In this talk he will tell
the story of his journeys, the history of the routes travelled and points of interest along the way.

The Life of Robert Blincoe who was sold as an orphan at the age of seven to work in Gonalston Mill will be the subject of this talk by local historian Peter Hammond. See poster for more details.
